Root Chakra
Muladhara

- feeling grounded
- healthy awareness of practical needs
- stable sense of belonging
- capacity to rest
- trust in one’s ability to meet basic needs
- healthy relationship with the body and physical world
When it needs care
- feeling ungrounded
- chronic insecurity
- difficulty establishing routines
- disconnection from the body
- excessive attachment to possessions
- rigidity
The invitation
“Am I safe enough to inhabit my life fully?”
Embodiment is not separate from spirituality; the body, the Earth and ordinary life can themselves be sacred.
Growth path: Develop security without becoming imprisoned by fear, possession or resistance to change.
